The Heart Behind Cavie Tales™
Author Julie Huetsch is the heart behind the Cavie Tales™ series, bringing to life joyful adventures in her debut children’s books, Cavie’s Magical Wish and Cavie and the SuperPups Save the Day. Inspired by her love for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and her passion for dog rescue, Julie writes stories celebrating friendship, adventure, and the magic of kindness.
At home, Julie is happily charmed by two Cavaliers: Granger, a puppy mill rescue who is now king of the castle, and Sophie, a certified touch therapy dog who spreads love in hospitals, schools, and community events through the Duo Dogs Touch Therapy Program.

Helping dogs in need of rescue and rehabilitation
The Cavalier Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, reuniting, and re-homing of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. It also provides education on Cavalier health, reputable breeding, and puppy mill awareness.
